Plot: Scooby-Doo is a 2002 live-action film, based on the popular Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning cartoon of the same name. The film was directed by Raja Gosnell and written by James Gunn. It was produced by Charles Roven and Richard Suckle for Warner Bros. Pictures, and starred Matthew Lillard as Shaggy, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne, Freddie Prinze, Jr., as Fred, Linda Cardellini as Velma, Neil Fanning as the voice of Scooby-Doo (who was created on screen using computer-generated imagery) and Rowan Atkinson as Emile Mondavarious.

The Mystery Inc. gang have gone their separate ways and have been apart for two years, until they each receive an invitation to Spooky Island. Not knowing that the others have also been invited, they show up and discover an amusement park that affects young visitors in very strange ways. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby soon realize that they cannot solve this mystery without help from each other.

Plot: Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed is a 2004 film sequel to Scooby Doo. It was directed by Raja Gosnell, who also directed the first movie, and written by James Gunn, who also wrote the first.

When Mystery, Inc. are guests of honor at the grand opening of the Coolsville Museum of Criminology, a masked villain shows up and creates havoc before stealing the costumes of the gang's most notorious villains: Black Knight Ghost, Pterodactyl Ghost and Tar Monster. Could it be that their nemesis, mad scientist Jonathan Jacobo has returned and is trying to recreate their deadliest foes? Velma has a crush on the hunk / museum curator Patrick Wisely but why is he acting so suspicious? The Mystery Gang is hard pressed to succeed this time, since pesky TV reporter Heather Jasper-Howe insists they are buffoons.
